アジア最大の音楽授賞式「2019 MAMA（Mnet Asian Music Awards）」が開催され、人気K-POPボーイズグループ BTS（防弾少年団）が、大賞を含む9つの賞に輝いた。
12月4日（水）、愛知県・ナゴヤドームにて「MAMA」が開催。今年「Boy With Luv feat.ホールジー」を収録したアルバム「MAP OF THE SOUL：PERSONA」が世界的ヒットを記録したBTSは大賞とされる「Song Of The Year」「Album of the Year」「Artist Of The Year」「Worldwide Icon Of The Year」を全て受賞した。

そのほか、「Best Music Video」「Best Male Group」「Favorite Male Artist」「Worldwide Fans’ Choice」「Best Dance Performance Male Group」を獲得した。
なお、「MAMA」の大賞をオールキル（全制覇）したアーティストはBTSが初めて。BTSは先日開催された「Melon Music Awards 2019（以下MMA）」でも大賞4つ全てを含む8冠を獲得。2019年はBTSにとって実りある一年となったようだ。
